I have reset all settings related to plug-ins. I have cleared my history, cache, and cookies. I have uninstalled and reinstalled chrome. I have also already visited the Chrome forums and done everything they suggested.Ĭhrome says Flash is enabled for all sites, no exceptions. When I click "Done", and then reopen the plug-ins page to see if the changes did take effect, the boxes immediately return to being unchecked. As you can see, I have checked the boxes labeled Adobe Flash player, Adobe reader, and Java, but no options appear to the right for me to change. This is obviously very different from yours. This is the same image I attached in my previous message, showing what my safari security settings are. I have already tried clearing history and resetting for Safari but since I don't use it anyway (only chrome) it didn't help. I spent over an hour with Apple Support on the issue before I came to this forum and they were unable to help me solve the problem, saying it was an Adobe issue and not an Apple issue. You can also go to Safari - Official Apple Support Communities (user-to-user forum) for assistance. If these options don't work, please contact Safari - Official Apple Support as it is their product that is not allowing you to enable the plugin.

#Adobe flash enabled but not working chrome mac update
Note: This method no longer works in the latest update of Chrome Browserġ. In case you have a favourite website that uses Flash, you can allow Flash content to play only for this specific website in Chrome Browser. Enable Flash in Chrome For Specific Websites If prompted, refresh the browser and you will be able to Play the Flash video. Click on the little info icon located to the left of the URL in Address bar and you will see the option to Allow Flash content for this website.
